Sponsored by The McNeil Center for Early American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Early American Studies is a triannual journal dedicated to publishing original research on a broad range of topics. Starting in 2010 it will be triannual. Each issue is organized with the goal of fostering research and scholarly inquiry into the histories and cultures of North America in the Atlantic world before 1850. Special emphasis is focused on topics and issues centered in the mid-Atlantic region. Online Access Full articles are available at this website through Project Muse. Current subscribers should select the Login link in the top right menu bar and enter the customer number in both the username and password fields. Select the Content@Muse link from the left menu bar to access content. This link will appear only after you have been validated as a current subscriber. This customer number appears on the carrier sheet that mails with each issue of the printed journal. Instructions for identifying your customer number or requesting this information if you do not have your carrier sheet are provided in the login instruction sheet.
